The Most Important Lesson I learned in 2021 About My Art and Life

You don't need more TIME. You need to DECIDE.

For years I wanted more time. More time to paint. More time for family. More time to make more YouTube videos. More time to create more watercolor classes. More time for ME.

More time to just do it all...

We are HUMAN. We can't do it all. And if we try to, we will burnout. We will be unhappy.

The biggest lesson this year for me was that I never needed more time. What I truly needed was to DECIDE.

Decide on what will take priority in my life. Everything else won't be a priority. If I don't get "everything else" done, that's okay.

When you're trying to do it all and feel like you need more time to do so, you're not setting priorities in your life.

Realizing this was life-changing for me. So, I'm now re-evaluating what is important in my life and what makes me happy, and putting those things first. Those things will be priority.

I also cut back on my work load. I've had to for the longest time as I was going through burnout, feeling unhappy, and going through some changes in my personal life.

Ever since that I've been so much HAPPIER. I am now finding JOY in my art and work I do.

I have time for what is important in my life: family, art, and the things that bring me happiness.

Do you need to do this too?
