Thank you for joining me for this peony tutorial and painting with me! By the end of this tutorial you will finish a peony painting that you can hang in your home or give as a gift to someone.
This tutorial is for beginners, there is minimal color mixing, a limited palette, and you can watch my every brush stroke in real time.
For this painting I use oil paints, but you're welcome to use acrylics if you prefer.

Prussian Blue
Sap Green
Cadmium Yellow Medium
Titanium White
(you’re welcome to use whatever variations of these colors you have on hand - for example if you have cadmium yellow light that is just fine)
The mediums I used were Gamsol and Galkyd Gel from Gamblin.
